The Seacoast Women's Giving Circle was founded in April 2006 by a group of local women eager to use their skills and resources to address critical issues facing the Seacoast community.

Seacoast Community.

Our neighbors in the seacoast community have come here for many reasons, but they stay because of its unique characteristics.

There are endless opportunities for outdoor life including kayaking, bicycling, skiing or just walking around and enjoying the natural beauty of the Seacoast. Throughout the seasons, there is always something to see in our many art galleries and museums, and shopping is easy in the boutiques and the nearby outlets.

The Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce invites visitors to "...enjoy great food, drink and conversation out on the town or along the waterfront, see a show at a local theater, listen to live music every night of the year at local pubs, or hop aboard a harbor cruise past the lighthouses to the Isles of Shoals."

The Seacoast Women's Giving Circle is committed to preserving these qualities and to responding to issues that threaten to diminish its excellence. We recognize that our strength is amplified by learning and acting as a group to address our local challenges.

The immediate scope of our giving and volunteering includes the following towns: Seabrook, Hampton, Hampton Falls, Northampton, Rye, Portsmouth, New Castle and Kittery. There are more than 7800 non-profit organizations in all of New Hampshire, and we are lucky to have worked with many of them on the seacoast.

Seacoast Women's Giving Circle and the New Hampshire Seacoast Community

"The Giving Circle gift is a wonderful endorsement of CLF's legal advocacy to protect the Great Bay estuary. We've enjoyed collaborating with the group and have been inspired by the power of this new form of philanthropy."
