The Seacoast Women's Giving Circle was founded in April 2006 by a group of women eager to use their skills and resources to address critical issues facing the Seacoast community. Members contribute annually to a pooled fund and participate in volunteer service projects in the community. Over the course of the year, the board members educate themselves about community issues, identify a cause on which to focus, and select non-profit organization(s) to receive the Giving Circle's annual gift.
Through our annual gift, we support non-profit organizations that provide services in or to the residents of some or all of the following Seacoast towns of NH and Maine: Seabrook, Hampton, Hampton Falls, North Hampton, Rye, Portsmouth, New Castle, and Kittery.
The Seacoast Women's Giving Circle is not a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization. Rather, it is a volunteer group that galvanizes financial and volunteer support for specific organizations and issues in the community. Donations from all members and friends are pooled and a single impactful gift is awarded to the non-profit organization or organizations we select each year.
If you would like to support our work in the community, please donate funds or volunteer your services directly to our annual non-profit gift recipients:
- NAMI NH
- Seacoast Family Food Pantry
- Conservation Law Foundation
- Families First
- New Heights
- More than Wheels
- Seacoast Youth Services
- Seniors Count
